With 434,943 units sold in the USA in 2023, the #ToyotaRAV4 is the best-selling vehicle in America, if you don’t include pickup trucks. From that number, @toyotausa sold 161,125 #RAV4Hybrid powertrains, giving the #Hybrid a 37% take rate for total #RAV4 sales. While we are expecting a totally redesigned version showing up for the 2026 model year, the current model is still very much at the top of its game. Today, we spent the day filming a fresh from the factory in Japan, 2025 #RAV4HybridLimited painted in Wind Chill Pearl with the Nutmeg Softex leather interior with heat/ventilation and 10-way power adjustments. The #RAV4Limited sits at the top of the trim hierarchy with 13 different ones to choose from. Under the hood, the 2.5L Dynamic Force engine and 3-electric motor combo still makes a combined 219 HP, while getting a still best-in-class 41/38 MPG with AWD. It’s capable of sprinting to 60 MPH in 6.8 secs, while being able to travel well over 500 miles on a full tank of fuel. Last year, #Toyota finally updated the technology with a brand new 12.3” fully digital gauge cluster and this decked out Limited trim also has the new 10.5” center screen complete with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a much brighter and quicker responding display. You can get into a new RAV4 for $28,675, a Hybrid will set you back $31,725 for the base LE trim. The Limited will cost at least $40,030, while this fully loaded vehicle in the photos with the Advance Tech & Weather package, panoramic sunroof, paint up charge and a few dealer accessories rang up at $45,933. We expect the next-gen model to go completely hybrid only and we wouldn’t be surprised if Toyota puts the 232 HP version from the new Camry and increases the screen in the center to their larger 12.3” unit. Until then, would you guys wait for the redesigned 6th generation, or just buy one of the last model year 5th generations?
